Welcome Brothers. The strength and direction of the Lambda Delta Chapter is more impressive than it has been in years. With the initiation of the Alpha-Beta Pledge Class on November 5, 2004, the active membership reached twenty-seven. These undergraduates have also been active participants in the Chi Phi College of Excellence, and at Congress, where Lambda Delta won its very first Gehring Award for the most improved chapter in the nation. They have also maintained the Chapter GPA at the University of Arizona men’s average. The Lambda Delta Chapter is currently striving to improve alumni communications as well. For the past eighteen months, alumni living in the Tucson area have been meeting on the first Wednesday of every Month at 6:30pm for Dinner and Drinks. They meet at Old Pueblo Grill at 60 N Alvernon Way in Tucson, Arizona. The Lambda Delta Alumni Association was also formed over the 2003 Homecoming by: Dan Ley, James Shira, Reuben Garza, Peter Matthews, Andrew Lyons, Michael Remedi, Robert Brant, Dave Stout, Michael Ford, and Craig Marshall. The goals of the Alumni Association are to support the undergraduate chapter, develop relationships with alumni, and promote the principles of the fraternity. There is an exciting future ahead of us. The alumni association is currently verifying and correcting the contact information of every Lambda Delta. In the very near future, regular newsletters and alumni events will be planned. We hope you will join in the success and longevity of the Lambda Delta Chapter. If you would like information on becoming a part of the Alumni Association or have questions regarding the future of our alumni and chapter, contact Dave Stout - davidstoutjr@yahoo.com
