Update for April 2, 2006

After initiating five new brothers in the fall as pledge class Alpha Delta, we pinned one new member after Spring Rush in Alpha Epsilon class. Additionally, we have begun renovating our empty laundry room into a fully functional, repainted laundry area. This is the first of what we hope to be a series of major renovations in an attempt to make out chapter house more hospitable. The brothers section has also been updated with the coming and going of active members.

Update for July 13, 2005:

Summer is hot and so is Lambda Delta! At the latest Congress, which took place in San Antonio, our chapter received 3 awards. We won the Outstanding Website Award, Outstanding Newsletter Award, and the Dr. Thomas Gehring Award for the best chapter. The Gehring award is the highest honor nationals can bestow on a chapter.

Update for April 6, 2005:

Lambda Delta has now initiated Pledge Class Alpha-Gamma into our ranks and we welcome them into our brotherhood. The alumni newsletter is having the finishing touches be made and is almost ready to print and mail. Room 3 is currently being made over, as the cracked walls have been replaced and will be set to be painted and have the flooring redone. Special thanks to Mark Henry and Jason Apfel for all their hard work and effort put into that room. We were also recently visited by Kim Godwin, the communications consultant from our national office. We would like to thank her for taking the time to come visit us.

Update for Feb 8th, 2005:

We finished spring rush and we now have 6 new pledges. Their bios should be on the web shortly. We also just got back from our RLA trip to Berkeley, and we had a blast! We will be sending another RLA crew to San Antonio for our colony at the University of the Incarnate Word. RLA was very informative and we now have some new ideas for rush, so be on the lookout for a summer rush event. An Alumni Newsletter is in the works and will hopefully be ready for mailing by mid-April. Rooms 2 and 3 in the house will be getting a makeover. Stay tuned for some changes on the website such as better rush section and more pictures.

Update for Nov 30th, 2004:

Lambda Delta recently won the Gehring Award for the Most Improved Chapter in the Chi Phi Fraternity. We also initiated 10 new brothers this semester, and are looking forward to spring rush. We also now have an Alumni Association. More information is available in the Alumni section.
